Nurture Life Toddler Meal Delivery Service

A couple months ago, I came across an offer to try Nurture Meal and receive a discount so I thought why not.  Lately, I’ve been all about whatever I can do to make life simpler and this fit into that plan.  Nurture Meal is a meal delivery service for babies, toddlers and kids.   The meals are fresh and organic and delivered weekly (or whatever frequency you want) to your door.  They aren’t frozen meals so you do have to use them all within a week pretty much.  You can also customize the meal plans for each of your children.  For Carter, I selected the Toddler, 5-meal a week option in meat- fish – veggie.  You also have the option to select which meals you want or you can let the company send you a random selection to make up the 5 – meals.  In your online account, you can also rate and review the meals to easily keep up with which ones your child likes/dislikes.

We received an email once our first box of meals shipped so I was keeping an eye out for it since I knew it needed to go in the fridge.  The email also lets you know which meals are scheduled to arrive and you can make any desired changes before the cutoff time.

I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging – the meals were very well packed to maintain a cold temperature and the ice packs it came with have come in handy since when packing coolers for trips.

Our meals included:

  • Chicken Meatballs & Pasta with Broccoli & Cauliflower
  • Chicken Shawarma w/Veggies & Rice
  • Chicken Bites, Mashed Yams & Green Beans
  • Chicken Tikka Masala w/Brown Rice
  • Teriyaki Salmon w/Brown Rice

Prior to serving, you can either microwave or pop each meal in the oven.

The meals are very nice portions – it’s actually enough for 2-3 meals (for Carter anyway).  This was what was left after one meal for him.

I thought the Chicken Tikka was excellent — nice that the chicken was already cut up into bite size pieces as well.

Overall, Carter didn’t care for about half of the options but I am going to try again soon and see if he’s more open to it.  Feeding little ones is a daily adventure in my experience!  I love having healthy, easy options on hand for Carter – then I don’t feel so bad when Adam and I have cereal for dinner! 🙂
