I’m back to share more from Carter’s scrapbook – these pages are from the second album and cover 2 through 6 months.
It’s amazing to already look back and see how tiny he was just 8 months ago!
I find I’ve been using this layout (4 – 3×4″ photos and journaling) because I’m never able just to pick ONE photo from an event!
I saved the cut outs from the foam pumpkin we carved with his hand/foot prints and they look so cute added to the page.
I was lucky enough to get to see Carter’s first roll over! He went from stomach to back the first time. I actually was able to capture it on video on my iPhone and then took screenshots to get the pictures to use in his scrapbook.
I included a picture of the Halloween crafts Carter and I made together.
I had a ton of cute sleeping baby pictures and decided to just make them into an 8×10″ collage.
Our first trip to the pumpkin’ patch! I love how this page turned out, it looks very “fall” – it’s another 8×10″ collage.
Could these Cricut cuts match any better?! I absolutely love this page.
I was stumped on what to do to commemorate Halloween and then decided to keep it simple. I learned my lesson by not taking any pictures with our DSLR camera – all the pics from Halloween are from the iPhone and the quality is just not great.
This is another page that I love how it turned out. It’s so much easier when you can make a larger Cricut cut and they make the perfect page accents.
Some layouts from our first trip to the Bahamas with baby.
Carter wasn’t a fan of the chilly ocean but loved floating and splashing around in the bathtub.
We had professional pictures done on the beach and I wanted to keep the photo on the pictures as I always do with professional pics. I keep the layouts simple and journaling to a minimum.
After our trip to the Bahamas, Carter got to try his first food. Adam fed him first and then I gave him a couple bites. I realized as soon as I looked at the pictures that Adam had cut my head off in every single picture!
Well, that wraps up the look into Volume II of Carter’s scrapbook! As you can see, I like to keep my layouts clean and not very busy, I try to keep the focus on the pictures, journal as much as I remember about events and embellish where it makes sense. I don’t have a lot of extra time to scrapbook these days but I cherish each and every layout and memory that gets captured. I’m almost caught up to Christmas in his scrapbook and my goal is to be completely caught up by his first birthday, wish me luck!
Thanks for stopping by!
