I didn’t make it happen to get my Christmas house tour posted before Christmas but I figured better late than never. I started decorating the week of Thanksgiving and it took me about the whole week to get everything done. Luckily, I had my mom, grandma and nanny to help or I would probably still be decorating! It was fun to decorate our new house but also a little slower going than usual because I had to keep re-arranging things to see what looked best/fit best in each place. I was going to make this all one post but it turned into picture overload so I’ll be back with pictures of the decorated Christmas trees!
First up, our front door! I found this pre-lit wreath at Target and then bought a few ornaments to decorate it with. Turned out really cute and inexpensive.
I added pre-lit garland over the front door and decorated it and my existing mini trees with red ball ornaments I already had. I love the pops of red at Christmas!
I dressed up the light fixtures with simple red bows.
I love this set of “joy” pillows and knew the swing was the perfect spot for them!
One of my favorite things every Christmas is decorating the banister with pre-lit garland and red picks with gold bows. It instantly turns the house into Christmas!
This mini tree was a new addition this year – also from Target. I had planned to put it either in our master bathroom or master bedroom but instead it ended up in the server in the dining room with a few simple gold balls.
The rest of the dining room – I stuck with red and gold for a change from the silver I normally use.
I hung our Christmas cards on a string of baker’s twine across the mantle.
I got into the Coton Color platters and attachments this year. This has turned into the perfect spot for my large platter. It makes me smile every time I see it up there. It’s fun to decorate for each season too.
And I had to share night time pictures because everything looks prettier at night 🙂
Frosty peaking out the window
I got this cute felt tree from Hallmark and thought it would be cute for Carter to play with as he grows. It was so cute on the hallway table.
I hope you all had a wonderful, happy and healthy Christmas! Thanks for stopping by.
